EMOP Berlin – European Month of Photography 2025

With my platform PiB — Photography in Berlin I’m delighted & happy to once again collaborate with EMOP Berlin – European Month of Photography 2025 as their media partner.

The EMOP Berlin – European Month of Photography is entering its 11th round from March 1 — 31, 2025. Germany’s largest photography festival invites you to rediscover the world of photography in all its facets. 100 exhibitions from more than 170 submissions await visitors.

For the 11th edition, EMOP Berlin is setting up a festival center for the first time. The strong content-related cooperation with the Akademie der Künste (Academy of Arts) is hereby continued. Starting from AdK’s Hanseatenweg location, visitors can explore the many galleries, museums, project spaces and other locations. An expression of this partnership is not only the central festival exhibition »what stands between us. Photography as a Medium for Chronicling« with projects by around 20 artists – curated by artistic director Maren Lübbke-Tidow – but also the partner exhibition »Ein Dorf 1950–2022. Ute Mahler, Werner Mahler und Ludwig Schirmer« contributed by the Akademie der Künste, and curated by Marit Lena Herrmann.
